Meet our Solid + Disposable Rosette Rings — simple little helpers that stay hidden inside your rosettes.

These rings are designed to remain inside the finished piece (they’re not meant to be removed or reused). They create a firm, consistent foundation that helps you achieve a cleaner, more stable center — especially when the rosette is thick, the middle isn’t naturally flat, or you’re building a structured ruffle ring like the example shown.

How they’re used

Once your layers are in place, add glue on top and around the ring to secure your ruffle/pieces and complete the look. It keeps everything exactly where it belongs — without shifting, collapsing, or needing extra “support tricks” while you work.

In the upcycled rosette shown, this ring solved a common problem: no need for cardboard shims just to level out the center for the button.

You might ask, “Why not just use a prong-back button?”
Sometimes… they simply don’t reach.
When a rosette is too thick, trimming won’t always get you where you need to be. These rings give you the right surface at the right height, without forcing the structure of the design.

To secure the button, I use E6000, then a ring of hot glue, and finish by placing a weight on top until everything cures.

1" SOLID BASE RING (Filled-In)

The 1" Solid Base Ring is a disposable structural base designed to stay inside the finished rosette. Instead of cutting cardboard circles, simply place this ring under your ruffle and build directly on top for consistent shape and support.

These rings are filled-in (not open), creating a stable platform for your ruffle and center button while helping the rosette keep its form over time.

1.75" and 2" DISPOSABLE OPEN RINGS (Not Filled-In)

Our 1.75" and 2" disposable rings are OPEN rings (not solid/filled-in). They’re designed to be left inside the rosette to create that perfect center ruffle ring like the one shown — quick, easy, no fuss.

These are especially helpful when you want a structured ruffle look without the extra prep work. And honestly? There’s something about leaving them in that makes the centers come out perfect every time.

Designed to Be Used Once

These rings are printed at our fastest production speed and are intended as single-use internal components. Quality may vary slightly from piece to piece, but each provides adequate structure for internal support where it will not be seen.

Because they are hidden inside the rosette, minor surface imperfections do not affect performance.
