Upcycled Rosette — Design & Creation (Please read fully before booking)

Turn meaningful ribbons, keepsakes, or saved awards into a beautiful new rosette.
Our upcycling process preserves sentiment while giving your ribbons a second life — thoughtfully, respectfully, and with professional craftsmanship.

This listing reserves your spot for an upcycled, made-to-order rosette.
Your deposit applies toward your final total (billed after design is finalized).

Important: This listing is ONLY for upcycling projects.

How Upcycling Is Different (and why it matters):  Upcycling uses materials that weren’t originally designed to be disassembled and rebuilt.

That means:  there can be fraying, weak spots, old glue, stains, or tape residue and some ribbons may not survive trimming  some portions may need to be trimmed away for structural reasons  we may recommend blending with neutral ribbon, ruffle, or specialty ribbon to stabilize the design

Our goal is always to preserve as much as possible — without compromising the integrity of the finished rosette.

Because of this, upcycling has its own intake process and release form so we can properly plan your project and protect sentimental pieces.

After You Book — What Happens Next

You’ll receive access to our Upcycling JotForm, where we collect details that really matter for this kind of work:

• whether any ribbons have sentimental value or can’t be trimmed
• whether there is visible damage
• whether you want scraps returned
• your preferences about blending new ribbon with upcycled pieces
• any concerns, stories, or context we should know

You’ll also sign our Upcycling Release, confirming that:

• some loss/waste is normal
• design decisions may be required to protect the final piece
• not every ribbon can be reused
  

How Many Ribbons Should I Send?

This depends on how heavily you want your original ribbons featured and what design we are using - these numbers are estimates:

       
About “fussy cutting” (cutting specific names/logos):
When we isolate exact areas, one ribbon may only yield one usable piece. This increases ribbon needs and waste. We always recommend sending extra so we have flexibility.
Unused pieces can be returned if requested on your JotForm.

Timing & Availability:  Upcycling projects are scheduled in batches alongside our standard customs.  We reserve a production month, not a specific date — this keeps quality high.  If this listing shows Unavailable, that batch is full.  We may not have time to reply to “When will spots open?” emails — please:

Design & Production steps:

1. Reserve your project spot (deposit)
2. Complete your Upcycling JotForm + Release
3. Send the correct amount of ribbon, and include your order number in the package.
   Email the tracking number to vividawards@gmail.com.  We’ll confirm arrival and add you to the schedule once your ribbon arrives.  The shipping address is in your automatic download.
4. We review your ribbons and confirm a plan within a week of the ribbons arrival.
5. You approve your streamer text and final invoice
6. We create your rosette and ship in the scheduled time frame.  

Pricing:

Prices follow our standard rosette catalog (plus upcycling handling, if needed).
Some projects cost less because materials are reused — others cost slightly more due to trimming time, stabilization, and layout planning.

Cancellations:
If your form and details are not submitted 45 business days before your production window, the order will be canceled and the deposit is non-refundable. We make one courtesy attempt to reach you via your shopify email.  

A Few Final Notes:

•  Each deposit reserves one rosette
• You only fill out the Upcycling JotForm once per order
• Please package your items carefully and insure the shipping.  We have you ship your items to our home for added security but we cannot be help responsible for lost, missing or damaged items.  
• We take great care to store your items carefully while in our possession.
• We reserve the right to refuse ribbons that are too damaged for processing.  
• Progress photos, mockups, and specialty upgrades are available at additional cost
• We treat sentimental ribbons with the highest respect — but natural wear and trimming risk is unavoidable in upcycling
